I lived in Paris for two years and was married there. I return regularly with my wife and daughter to visit family and to reconnect with the city’s vibrant community of expatriate artists. Much of my personal and creative energy is inspired by my visits to this city.
I perform in Paris as a poet, musician and storyteller at events organized by Spoken Word Paris and Paris Lit Up, and I have work in books published by these groups. A fictional short story, “Don’t Be Cruel,” in The Bastille: Interesting Times is available online and at Shakespeare and Company bookstore. I also have poetry in the upcoming edition of The Bastille and an essay in the upcoming edition of the annual Paris Lit Up literary journal. These books are shelved in the Beats section at the historic Shakespeare & Co. bookstore.
