I’ve assisted writers on a variety of projects. I’ve edited simple documents like resumes and cover letters and more complex manuscripts like novels, memoirs, poetry chapbooks and screenplays. I’ve done a bit of ghostwriting. I’ve mentored university students and corrected countless academic essays at all levels as Associate Professor of English at the Art Institutes.
Also at the Art Institutes, as Transitional English Coordinator, I was responsible for designing curriculum, which was used by adjunct professors in my department. Materials included a course textbook, sample lectures, essay assignments and grammar exams.
I’m currently editing two novelists and corporate presentation material for Wiley Edu, LLC, and I’ll soon begin work in the Social Studies textbooks division at National Geographic Learning. I’m interested in finding additional work for the summer and beyond.
I encourage you to please send me an email. Let me know what you’re working on and how I can help. I’d be happy to hear from you.
Please see my resume (file: James Berg CV – Freelance-REV online 2016) for complete information about my experience.
